April 15, 2011 - Tea Party Event

Constitution Week & Making America Seminar
Making of America Seminar
September 11, 2010 at San Juan College
8:30am to 4:30pm
Cost $15.00 if registered before August 11th, includes study guide

"Constitution Week of San Juan County" is a family friendly, weeklong celebration of the US. Constitution that has made America free for over 200 years. The Constitution Week of San Juan County is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to educating the citizens about the historical significance of the US Constitution and how it protects our natural rights.
There is a "Making of America Seminar" on Sept. 11th, 8:30am-4:30pm at San Juan College. Cost is $15 if registered by Aug. 11th. Seminar includes a study guide. Your family will see, hear, and learn the unforgettable stories that will be a learning experience your family will never forget.
Events planned during Constitution Week include the "Making of America Seminar" on Sept. 11th, Scout Merit Badge Clinic the 15th, Founding Fathers visit to the schools, a Veteran Memorial Service the 17th, and a Constitution Fair on Sept. 18th. The Constitution Fair on Saturday will have games, a Founding Fathers Town Square, entertainment, and more.
Constitution Week is funded entirely by private contributions to continue in the preservation of Liberty. Businesses can sponsor an event giving the organization maximum community exposure. There are a varitey of ways individuals can be involved during the week. The organization is not affiliated with any political party or organization and does not endorse any political candidates. It only teaches the historical and original intent of the US Constitution.

April 17th - FARMINGTON TEA PARTY
Have you been Taxed Enough Already (TEA)? Join us on Saturday, April 17th at Gateway Park and Museum for the anniversary of the 1st Farmington Tea Party Event.
Time: 11 am to 1 pm
The next TEA Party will be on April 17 at 11:00am at the Gateway Museum. We invite all of you to put it on your calendar. It will be followed at 1:00pm by an Open Carry Rally at the same location. We invite all of you who would like to come with sidearm to feel free to do so and to carry it openly. The SJC 9-12 Project has a very strict no violence policy. This rally is about showing our support for our God given, Constitutionally protected right of self defense and firearm ownership.We want to invite everyone out to the same location as before, just east of the Gateway Museum, on Main Street. You may park where you can find some space. We will be allowing candidates time to speak during this event, although we will be limiting their time. They will be invited to come and campaign if they like, but this is about you and me showing that we can stand up and make the politicians listen to us on basically 3 issues.1. Constitutionally limited Government2. Fiscal Responsibility3. Free Markets
